My name is Kristen S. and I had started the 28 day weight loss challenge when I was weighing in at 263 pounds. I had lost some weight before I decided to enter the challenge because I knew I needed fast results.
What kept me motivated were the weekly weigh ins and the coaching and encouragement that Renee gave me. Every week I saw the weight just melting off of me which made me happy and showed me I was able to accomplish a next goal put before me.
On the day of my last weigh-in, I had lost 22 pounds in just 28 days! I was so proud of myself because I stuck with it and was able to pull-through. After that I would go off and on the 28 day program and never gained a pound back each week continuing to see the scale go

We all know that buying a membership to a gym, video tape, or juicing machine is not going to make you lose weight and get in shape.
It is the change in eating habits that do it. It is not news to anyone that you need to use more calories in a day than you consume.
Renee did not judge me, but encouraged me to change. My schedule during the middle two weeks of the 28 days was hectic and if you actually saw what I ate you would have given up any hope of any weight loss, but Renee’s encouragement made me feel like giving it my best effort during the rest of the program.
It is embarrassing to admit to oneself that you are overweight. The scale lets you know, your clothes let you know, your mirror lets you know you, even the doctor lets you know you should lose weight but still we continue to over eat and not workout enough. It is even harder to admit to someone else that you need help in motivating yourself to feel better. Renee encourages a healthy lifestyle change without the condescending attitude.
Time can be measured in seconds, minutes, hours, days, years, and lifetimes. It continues on with us making changes or not making changes. 28 days will pass. What do you want to happen in 28 days. Plan for it and do it. It always helps to have a plan and the right people around you that offer encouragement and guidance to achieve your goals.
Here’s the question. Do you want to lose weight? Are you serious or do you want to continue living the same life style and think the result will be different? Really? Well then get your ass into Renee’s office and start a program that has proven success. When you invest money, Do you pick a stock or business that is failing or one that is successful with a proven track record.

Annie T.'s New Perspective
Given the chance to get on the In-Body machine and check my workout progress -specifically my body fat, was something I jumped at. But when I saw that despite working out 5 days a week and eating “healthy”, my body fat was still almost 30%. I’m 5’2” and wearing a size 4 - where’s the fat, I asked myself!!! Apparently I looked like I was going to burst into tears when Renee Doehler,a nutrition counselor, came over and asked me what was up. When I explained my dilemma, she asked me if I counted calories. I explained that I ate only good food, drank in moderation, and worked out like a marine!! “Try it for a week”, she said.
Was I surprised!! My “healthy” shake was tipping the scale at 500 calories, my bowl of whole grain cereal with fruit and rice milk was close to 400, and those scrumptious flax crackers were 200 calories for JUST 10!!!
I signed up for the Lifestlye Program where Renee modified my daily intake of food, keeping my favorites, and adding a few new things. Right away the fat content started coming down. I kept a food journal and, together with Renee, learned portion size and meal composition. In just 4 weeks, my body fat went from 30% to just under 25%.. I lost 6 pounds and can actually see all those hidden muscles!
I’ve kept it up and continue to improve. I’m not starved, and if I choose to go out and know I will have a glass of wine or two, I compensate for those calories during the day. You can always fake the food journal, but you can’t fool the scale (or Renee)!!

As husband and wife we did this program together for moral support and fun. Together we lost a combined 29.5lbs in 28 days! Renee's constant encouragement and availability throughout the process was more than we had anticipated. I am thrilled with everything I’ve accomplished during the 28 day weight loss program, so I’m happy to share.
I lost 14.8 lbs on the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge - - that was over 10% of my starting body weight!!! The best part was it seems like most of the area where I lost was in the troublesome middle section. I liked that the program focused on eating whole, healthy foods. It made me try some new foods (e.g. oatmeal, cottage cheese, GG crackers, almond butter and whey protein) that I now LOVE and are part of my ongoing food plan. I used to buy all low-fat or fat-free salad dressings (none of which tasted great) and now that I’ve switched to olive oil and balsamic vinegar, I found that I really enjoy and look forward to having salad! The food scale was one of the best purchases I ever made! It really made me understand portion sizes.
My total weight loss from mid Jan to end of May (4 ½ months) was over 40 lbs. and my Percent Body Fat (PBF) went from 43.8 down to 30.2! For June, my goal was to get my PBF in the normal range. So I kept following the food guidelines of the 28 Day Challenge and hit the weights hard (with the help of a personal trainer). I weighed in today and in 3 weeks I lost 3.5 lbs of fat and gained 1.5 lbs of muscle. My PBF is down to 27.9 -- now in the normal range!!! Best birthday ‘gift’ I could get! I feel good! Of course, I need a whole new wardrobe since I dropped about four sizes – but I guess that’s considered a good problem!
Renee was very helpful and encouraging! My daughter LOVES going to babysitting – so she is having a blast while I can focus on me. Bottom line – I don’t think I could’ve accomplished so much without the help and support of Renee.
